The proprietor of RB Boatworks, Captain Scott MacGregor, grew up on Anna Maria Island, FL and spent his entire childhood sailing on the Gulf of Mexico. His bus stop was a beach access on the north end of the island. Everyday after being dropped off by the bus from school he would walk down the path and go sailing on a Hobie Cat or a Sunfish. On the weekends he would go out to Egmont Key with his parents or friends on the family powerboat or sailboat.
Captain Scott has Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of South Florida. He worked for 15 years as an engineer for several different companies doing mainly piping systems with associated mechanical equipment.
